Are You Interested in Becoming an Official? Training Opportunities for the Summer will start in JUNE!
We are always looking for officials interested in becoming certified officials. Indoor Field Hockey is ready to start and additional training will also be available in the spring.
If you or someone you know, is interested in becoming an official, fill out our New Officials Information form. Our Training Chair will be contacting interested candidates. Officiating is a great way to be involved in the game you love and to stay in shape! And you get paid doing the things you enjoy....a great game with lots of collaborative people around you.

Due to the limited availability of the Raspberry and Kukri shirts, the NHFHUA has elected to add the Hagan Yellow with Black insert as another option for officials. The yellow is available in both short and long sleeve. Jackets and other apparel are also available through Hagan's. The yellow with black inserts are worn at USA events and for umpiring collegiate games. These shirts can be purchased through USA Field Hockey supplier Hagancustomsports.com. The Executive Board does have some raspberry and Kukri shirts available that will be reserved for new incoming officials.
Officials may wear any of the colored shirts we have available, but umpires MUST have matching shirts when on the field. Communication before a game will be helpful for umpires to manage this.
